Privacy & Visibility
What companies can see
Section titled “What companies can see”Before a match is confirmed, companies see:
- Your archetype (e.g. “Analytical Strategist”)
- Your Big Five trait scores
- Your experience summary (years, domains, skills)
- Your match score and the explanation for it
They cannot see:
- Your name or photo
- Your email or contact details
- Your raw assessment responses
- Your CV or documents (unless you choose to share them)
Identity is revealed only after both sides confirm a match.
Your assessment data
Section titled “Your assessment data”Your MALA responses are stored encrypted and are never sold or used for purposes outside your own matching. You can:
- Export your data from Settings → Privacy → Export Data. We generate a full copy of your data as a structured JSON file, bundled with your uploaded documents, and send you a secure download link.
- Delete your account from Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Your personal data — your profile, psychometric (PUC) profile, demographic data, uploaded documents, swipes, and avatar — is permanently removed. Records that involve a company on the other side (job applications and messages you exchanged with employers) are kept only in anonymized form, with your identity stripped out, so the company retains a record it may legally need. We complete this within 30 days.
Demographic data (optional)
Section titled “Demographic data (optional)”JobMatch runs monthly fairness audits to check that the matching engine doesn’t produce biased outcomes across demographic groups. You can optionally provide demographic information (gender identity, ethnicity) to contribute to this audit.
This data is:
- Encrypted at rest
- Never shared with companies
- Used only in aggregate statistical analysis
- Fully optional — not providing it has no effect on your match scores
You can submit or withdraw this data at any time from Settings → Privacy → Demographics.
